Our spring 2008 hymn.

The text of "That They May Be One" was first published as a poem in the March/April 2007 issue of Lutheran Partners. Poet Charles Strietelmeier is the Pastor at Augustana Lutheran Church in Hobart, Indiana, and his poems have also appeared in The Cresset.

The tune is by Sally Messner, a professional soloist in Minneapolis and the hymn editor of LF. Mark Sedio, Music Director at Central Lutheran Church in Minneapolis, provided the harmonization.
