Two Online Resources for Theology & Preaching

I recently made acquaintance with these two internet archives, both well worth your attention.
The first is the GlobeTheoLib, or Global Theological Library, an initiative of the World Council of Churches and Globethics.net. The purpose is to make theological texts available for free, especially to people in places with limited library access. Its three categories are Journals, Reference, and Collections. There is a good solid number of journals with articles available for download, from more popular to strictly academic in scope. The Reference collection is limited but excellent: the full text of Oxford theological handbooks is available, thus top-notch overviews of a great range of subjects. Collections has a huge amount of WCC documents of all kinds, as well as a Catholic Ethics collection, with ethical reflections from other traditions promised to follow soon.
The other resource to visit is the Online-Sermons site, based out of Goettingen, Germany, but offering translations of model sermons also in English, Danish, Portuguese, and Spanish. Current Sermons has one or two in each language for the current lectionary readings, but Previous Sermons includes a vast quantity of past postings. (I'd like to add that among the authors you will notice names affiliated with the ALPB and Lutheran Forum.) The site gets about 70,000 hits a month from all over the planet.
Happy reading!
