In honor of the 491st anniversary of Luther's posting of the 95 Theses, our "skin" on the website today is red. Tomorrow for All Saints' it will be white/gold, and then on November 2nd it will return to green for the rest of the season after Pentecost until Advent makes us blue.

It is a bit awkward in some ways in these ecumenical days to celebrate Reformation Day unabashedly, but whatever else goes you do or refrain from doing, we bid you to remember your baptism, receive the gift of grace placed in your hands and heart, and cling tightly to Jesus Christ, your savior and Lord, who reigns with His Father and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever.

And to that certainly every Christian can say: Amen!
